This ring was sculpted using silver clay. This is made up of fine silver particles and a binder that makes it flexible to work with. Once fired, the binder completely burns away and you're left with a solid fine silver ring!
The ammonite design is made using a real ammonite fossil which has been pressed into the clay when malleable.
