Taking care of your jewellery once you've bought it is very important in making sure it will last a lifetime! 

925 silver care

Last on and first off - Apply lotions and perfume before wearing your jewellery to prevent the chemicals from tarnishing the silver or discolouring the bone (if your jewellery contains bone)

Remove before showering, swimming, completing heavy chores and excercising.

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes, especially when not worn. Store your pieces in a dry, air tight place to prevent oxygen from getting to it.

 

Use a soft polishing cloth to keep your pieces shiny.

 

If your silver needs a deep clean, don't use liquid cleaners. Instead, scrub with a soft brush in warm soapy water.

If your piece is made with bone, tooth or antler. Avoid getting it wet. If a deep clean is needed, use clear soap (to prevent staining the bone) and don't soak the piece. Bones and teeth change colour when they are wet and will return to their original state once dry.
